Don't believe the negative reviews. Roth is great - they are extremely honest and charge a fair price. We've been going there for years and have never had an issue. HIGHLY recommend.

The guy who got ripped for $9.75
I gave Bob a written order with several things to do. Among them, I really needed to have my hood locking mechanism fixed. (As in, make it work like it used to). When I came to pick it up he said they had it working & charged $9.75 for the "repair." I drove it around the corner & found it wasn't working.
I went back & he argued that is was fine. His mechanic rammed my hood release way up into the dash & violently slammed my fiberglass hood to force it shut.
I went back the next day & asked for a credit for the $9.75 since, they didn't actually fix the thing. (Mind you, I had $140 worth of other things done). He refused, saying I was not welcome in his shop & told me to "have a nice life." As I walked away I heard him shouting, but I just ignored him.
This guy is not to be trusted as he did not care at all about doing the right thing. Bear in mind, as I spoke with him, never did I swear or use any demeaning speech. I spoke fairly, honestly & tactfully. I'll pay for a service, even if the price a little high. But I will NOT pay for something that wasn't fixed.
As an example of overpriced: I had 4 wheels (tires mounted on rims) that needed switched w/ 4 other wheels. Bob charged me $32.50! The Ford dealer said they could do it for $17.

Years of excellent service from Roth
I searched here just to get their phone number quickly and I was truly shocked to see they had some negative reviews. I've had my car worked on here for about 13 years, and both my grown sons have also taken their cars to Roth. We have…

Where's My Oil?
My manual says the oil capacity is 4.5 qt. I supplied super expensive Mobil 1 synthetic oil (5 qt). I've been to 3 different garages for oil changes. They've always returned a half filled qt of my oil. Bob didn't do so. He claimed the car…

Been going to Roth Automotive for a couple of years now and have had nothing but excellent service at a fair price. I have even dropped off my car in the morning and had all the work done the same day when I was in a bind and needed my car the following day for work.

Don't believe the bitter reviews - Roth is GREAT!!! My wife and I have been taking our cars to Roth Automotive for at least 2 years now. We have both had really bad experiences at other places, and went to Roth because it's not too far from us and has good ratings through Car Talk's website.
In our experience, everybody who works there is extremely friendly and helpful. We don't know much about cars, but any time we have an issue, they explain the problem to us in very easy to understand terms. We've never had any issues, and have felt that they are an honest operation. Sometimes their prices might be a bit higher than some other places (not by much at all), but I'm more than willing to pay a few extra bucks to insure that my car is in great condition when it leaves the shop.
We would recommend Roth Automotive to anyone!
