I had a great experience with Ace's! They weren't over priced like most places and this coming from a college student. Jim has taken care of my vehicles for over10 years. From oil changes, brakes, suspension, transmission and engine work, he's been able take care of all my repair needs. He's honest, hard working and fair. Before you have your car fixed anywhere else, let him give you a quote. You will be pleasantly surprised at the money you'll save. I have no hesitation recommending him for all your auto and truck repair needs.

I was referred to James through a friend who had gotten work done on his car back in April and he came highly recommended. I take referrals very seriously being a small business owner myself, so I prefer supporting local. I drive a 2006 Acura TL and needed to get a timing belt job, water pump, and upper ball joints but the quotes around Skokie where I live were RIDICULOUS!!!
After speaking with James, his quote was the best price around. James was very friendly, genuine, and honest. He gives you a legit price and he did such an EXCEPTIONAL job on my car. My car runs to smoothly now and I have found my new mechanic to get work done from and I'll definitely be sending him referrals. I drove from Skokie to Aurora to get my car fixed and it was TOTALLY worth it!!
I rarely go on Yelp to give reviews but he's so friendly and honest that I wanted to take the time to write something out. He's definitely one of the good peoples!!

Just had the front brakes on our van completed with a couple brake lines. Great service and prices. Jim even gave me a short list of things to watch and consider replacing down the road. No pressure, honest service with fair prices and the most reasonable labor rate in the area. I'll be dropping off the Yukon for the coolant leak later this week. Jim is my mechanic, he should be yours too.
