I had many mechanics before and somebody refer to me about Edwin, at the beginning I wade skeptical but decided to give a try.
My car had a serious problem and the budget I received from another mechanic was expensive for my opinion so I decided to look for other options; then I went to see Edwin and after he looked at my car gave me and my wife and explanation on what was the issue and 'solutions' when he said the price I was shocked it was much lower than the budget from my previous mechanic and of course the dealership; then I decided to change.
It's been 6 years then and all I can say these guys are honest and good mechanics; two great combinations for a shop.

Ok, this is my 2nd time writing this review, not sure what happened to the 1st. But here it goes.
I've been a faithful customer of Edwins for the past 5 years. Friendly staff and they used to do real good work at reasonable prices.
Recently I took my car in to get the brakes replaced. They told me I needed rotors, so I purchased them and all they were to do was to replace the brakes and rotors. Picked my car up, and now when I apply brakes it pulls to the side. Took it back and they gave me recommendations on what may fix the problem ( an additional $500) after I've already paid close to 400 for brakes. Come on now $1,000 for brakes!!! Took my car to get a second opinion, and the mechanic immediately saw that it was a contaminated/clogged hose that Edwins did not properly install. They replaced it, and now the car brakes and stops fine.
My son also had Edwins look at his brakes ( not replace them, just inspect them) Now his car is doing the same thing mine was doing. When we took it back, they refused to fix it properly and gave us recommendations of over $1,100 worth of brake work.
My thoughts. Although they are nice people, the work they have recently performed on my car and my sons vehicle is less than standard and I had to go elsewhere to get it done properly, plus pay extra money.
I believe Edwin has hired a bunch of new kids in training to perform work that's less than par.
My advice, take you vehicle elsewhere.

I have been coming here for the best part of ten years.
You can expect courteous service and honest pricing. I don't take my car anywhere else since I found this outfit.
They are busy pretty much all the time and the fact they have expanded to about three times the size they were a few years ago is a testament to their service and satisfied customers.
Recently, I was told that I needed brake work by a place that did my oil change and inspection using a Groupon. Edwin confirmed that one of the rear calipers, pad and rotor was damaged and recommended replacing them.
I was also told that my front rotors needed to be replaced because their thickness was below the legal minimum. Edwin said they were fine and did not need replacement. This was in line with the safety inspection that was done three months earlier when this was never raised as an issue.

Edwin is cool. I have been going to this shop for 8 years even though I live 30 miles away, They are honest and their prices are reasonable. Expect to save at least 40% on any auto services compared to any repair shop I have been. Highly recommended.
