Reid has worked on my Volvos for 20+ years, originally at a dealer but for the last 10+ years at his own shop. He does all the basic maintenance, but if there is a problem, knows what it is and how to fix it. I had one unusual problem. My ashtray was reinserted incorrectly upside down at a carwash and seemed hopelessly stuck. Reid managed to fix it by using tiny screws to repair a hinge. I really appreciated it because even though the car is old, it is still in good shape, and I want to keep it that way. Also, he never recommends unnecessary work.

Reid has been my family's auto mechanic for as long as I remember. As far as I know, he takes any kind of car you bring him. He is the Auto Doctor of the South Bay! He is always honest, respectful and does his best to be quick in his work. He can spot a problem that you don't realize is there or can't see and gives you the best price. I have recommended him to several friends and family members and they have always been happy/satisfied with his work. He has reasonable hours and if you leave him a message, he's really good at getting back to you when he's in the shop.
If you want a auto mechanic that wont leave you in the dark, wont overprice and is always honest, go to Reid :-)

We have two 240 Volvos, a 1990 and a 1992 ~ a friend of ours referred us to Reid and he is "The Go to Volvo Mechanic". Reid is great and knows everything there is to know about our 240's. It is very comforting to know Reid is around to take care of our 20+ year old vintage 240's!

Visiting from out of town for my brother's wedding,our Volvo S70 quit on the road. We found Reid's on line, and what a life saver! He really solved all the problems, which were numerous and complicated. showed us the parts, before and after, and got the car done on time. I recommend him to anyone in South Bay if you are looking for an honest mechanic, great service and a fair price! Thanks, Reid!
