Guided by the expertise of Owner, David Colley, and his chief mechanic, Brian, this shop is simply the best of the best in Sarasota. Awesome service at reasonable prices. These guys get it right the first time, every time! It's a 5-star shop in my book! Thanks AE!!

Several things done at his shop. Always dealt with Brian. Good guy seems knowledgable. Have a 2002 Ford Mustang GT beefed up with about every engine both on you can think of. He installed a Bielstien B12 pro kit, which has lowering springs. Good price on that done by the time he told me and work seemed solid. Also had him do the rear pinion seal on the rear end. I provided the gear oil, just because I run only very high end fuilds in my car like royal purple engine oil and gear oil. Which by the way was almost $40 for 2 quarts of 75w140. But I was charged a little bit more than I expected considering I supplied the gear oil. Was charged $240. Which I thought was reasonable until I got a quote from another garage after the fact for 195 and that would have been with them providing the gear oil. So it would have been less than 195. That's the only complaint I have. But seems like The work he did on the seal was good as well I don't mind paying a little more for good work but ive had good work at the other shop that gave me the other quote. I would definitely take my stand to him agian for work. Just a pretty far drive from my location. But I recommend this shop!

I bought a high-end sports car from David, from 1300 miles away. I never saw the car myself until it rolled off of the delivery truck. I had the car inspected by a third party individual, and found that the car was at least as good as David had described during several phone conversations. I did have an issue with the car, and the issue was resolved. (Issue: Convertible top did not lower. After I had driven the car a few times the top worked fine. It only needed to be adjusted.) David called me several times to make sure that the issue was resolved properly. My opinion of David is that he takes a great deal of pride in himself and his business.

Took my brand new truck there to get window tint done. While applying the tint they used a lot of soapy water to get the tint to set just right before setting as usual. The water damaged key electrical components in my truck that can not be fix only replaced. I talked to the owner Dave about what I found after taking it to Toyota for diagnoses, (sense the truck has under 1,000 miles on it). Showed him what was wrong and what the cost would be of replacement, from Toyota not an aftermarket piece. He lost it, started to yell loudly at me, cursing at me, saying he will not take care of anything or stand behind his shop. Then it escalated to the point of me dialing 911 for help because he was threatening to hit me while inches from my face. After he saw me dial he got out of my face asking me to hang up so I did, and told him I will be contacting my lawyer to get this resolved. While saying that I was closing my vehicle door, he then grabs the door pulls it out of my grip and starts proceeding to yell and curse at me more. How the electronic equipment will dry up and start working again. While in his rage, I was able to get my door back in grasp close it and drive off before the situation got any worse. Beware!

Decent service, however, its highly overpriced. There are many locations around town that can do as good of a job or even better for much less.

I have been doing business with American European Autos for years. David and Brian have been honest and accurate about my cars problems and I couldn't be happier with the results. I enjoy looking at the fine line of autos David has for sale while I wait for my car repair to be finished. Stop by and take a look. That's the way I did it years ago and I'm glad I did. ++++Bill Rainha.

A new profile won't save you from your reputation. You damaged my brand new car and offered me 20% of the cost of repair after being rude about it. You used soapy water all over the interior of my brand new vehicle and stained it all white. You denied any responsibility. You are rude, you are a poor businessman, and you even tried to hide from other reviews where you got physical with another customer by creating a new profile. I didn't take your lowball offer because I was offended. I won't forget what happened and I warn everyone about you every chance I get. Yelp users: please mark this as useful if it stops you from using this business. Show this owner what his rude actions cost him.
