If I could give this business a lower rating I would. It defines bad service. The worst. Horrible customer relations, never has work completed when promised, doesn't answer phone calls and doesn't do work as promised or warenteed. After "fixing" our transmision we took it to another shop and were informed our transmision needed to be rebuilt or replaced and that they would stand behind that diagnostic in court. To top it all off our stereo system was stolen the LAST time we were in.

Top Gear is always making me feel taken care of. I won't go anywhere else. Fair prices, good people, and honest service. I love Tim and Don!!! I send everyone I know in this area to them. So hard to find a good shop these days so I have to spread the word!!

Wow... I needed a new desiel mechanic now that I live in Oregon City. I had an oil leak and felt this was the place to go based on the average customer reviews. They had the truck for 2 days and the issue was a seal with my oil filter. It costed me $900 for a seal, oil change, air filter, and fuel filter? Almost $400 in labor? Crazy.... you would think they would want to gain customers not overcharge new one's so they don't come back. Lesson learned..... I can see why their shop was empty....

Tim and his team are fair and upfront with all costs. Automotive service is a tough business to keep everyone happy as everyone is worried about being taken advantage of. This is a shop you can go to and not have to worry about that. Tim even has gone as far to accepted coupons from the business across the lot which went out of business due to unethical practices. I went in for a front brake job at the recommendation of another shop and he told me there is no reason to replace them as I had over 50% of life left. He could have easily done the job and never shared this information with me, but instead it just goes to show you this is a shop you can go to and trust. Thanks Tim.

I have never had better service! Tim is one of the most knowledgable and helpful "car" guys I have ever met. After getting into an accident, my tow truck driver suggested that I have my car towed to these guys. I called Tim several times a day with questions regarding my car, and estimates on repair. He was very patient and kind with me and helped me understand what the issues were with my car. He was honest about repair costs and labor, and even did hours worth of research and calling around to find the cheapest, and BEST quality parts to get the car fixed in my budget. Even when it was decided that I could not afford the repairs and had to give up the car, he called around to all his buddies and associates and found someone to buy the -broken- car from me! AND! Even after all this, they suggested that when I decide to purchase a new car, to bring it in to them so they can check it out and make sure that I am buying a safe and reliable vehicle. There is absolutely NO reason why I would take a car anywhere else! These guys are trustworthy, kind, and will do WHATEVER it takes to get you back on the road, safely and happy.

Went in for my appointment at 1pm and they tried to tell me it was scheduled for noon, and couldn't accept me that day. Recorded my call with them previously (as I've had trouble with auto shops lacking integrity before) and confirmed the appointment was indeed scheduled for 1pm. On top of that, the package of free oil changes I bought from them, claimed them to be free with nothing about additional charges for what was offered (besides for optional additional services and upgrades.) They said it would be a $5 extra fee even though it didn't include anything excluded in the terms and conditions or the main text of the package deal.
