I was referred to Burlingame Collision Center in March. I met with Don who is friendly, professional and knowledgable. His staff is very helpful too.
There was a construction truck that had rocks flying out of it that hit my car and caused paint chip damage to my hood and windshield. Don was very informative and help me through the whole process. He worked with my insurance company, helped me get a rental car, that was only one block from his business. It was so convenient.
I have a Mercedes, he only uses the best OEM parts. That made my experience even better. When I picked up my car the paint job looked like it came off a show room floor. It was immaculate and looked beautiful. I was so happy. The work that was performed was excellent and beyond my expectations with top notch service.

He assisted me with calling and coordinating with my insurance company, he walked me through all the necessary steps and he was a true advocate for me as a client. I was in a wreck recently on El Camino st. and needed a place to take my truck for repairs. Not being from the area, I took a chance on Burlingame Collision Center based on the yelp reviews. I could not be happier with the service I received.
1. Don was professional and friendly. He completely took the pain out of the insurance claim process by working with the insurance companies on my behalf.
2. He did not settle for cheap replacement parts. Instead, he only accepted OEM replacement parts with chrome that will not change color or otherwise degrade over time.
3. While waiting on parts, I let him know about a coolant leak that I also needed to get fixed. He went out of his way to take the truck to a neighboring business and have it fixed while the ordered parts came in.
4. He also repaired a rusted part of the body of the vehicle as a thank you for bringing my business there.
I had an excellent experience, with no prior knowledge about the place and without knowing anyone there. I know you will have a great experience there too.

My car's hood was damaged by another car backing into it. I brought my car in for an estimate and learned a lot about the insurance and claims process from Don. He was very helpful and informative. His guidance was invaluable in the insurance claims process. They did a great job on the hood and only had the car for 24 hours. They even performed a complementary paint touch up of a few marks on the back of the car. Would definitely recommend Burlingame Collision Center and will use them again.

Don is very helpful and informative. I recently moved out here and was fortunate enough to live right by this place. I have yelped a few places and this garage seemed to have many satisfied customers. My car was side swiped and I brought my car in for an estimate, but Don was so awesome that we decided to have him repair or car. They did a great job and assured me that everything was fixed. He was friendly and even followed up with us to make sure everything was running fine. I would definitely recommend this place!

My driver side quarter panel was damaged by another driver backing into me. I took my car to Burlingame Collision after reviewing the good reviews on Yelp. Don evaluated my car and knew right away that the correct way to fix the damaged section was to replace the quarter panel as opposed to repairing the dent. Since my car was less than 2 years old, that was what I wanted as well. He explained the whole process and manufacturer recommendations so it was clear what the estimate would entail. The insurance estimator initially said they were only going to repair the dent as opposed to replacing the damaged part. Thank goodness Don was there to help us sway the insurance company to eventually replace the part and make it brand new again. So many other reviewers have mentioned his support through the claims process and I couldn't agree more. He was so informative and it really felt like he was my advocate when my insurance company was not. When I received my car back a few weeks later it looked brand new. He had cleaned every inch of the car and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. I would highly recommend Burlingame Collision for any body work and we will be repeat customers for sure.

Came into Burlingame collision center this morning to ask about my radiator support that got pushed in during a fender bender. My hood wasn't able to correctly close all the way. Don came over and looked it over, asked me what I wanted to do. I asked him if it was able to be pulled out, he came back with some huge slide hammer and instantly started getting to work. After about 20 minutes of working, using an assortment of tools and making sure the hood latch was even, MY HOOD WAS ABLE TO CLOSE! I couldn't even believe that's all it took to get my hood closed. Other places were trying to get me to replace the whole radiator support which was over 100 bucks. Don was knowledgeable and told me that a whole support wasn't necessary and I'm really pleased with the work he provided. They didn't try to up sell anything and were very honest about everything. Glad I found this place and if I need any more work done I won't hesitate to come back here!

Burlingame Collision Center is a family owned repair shop that does business the "old fashion" way - they put the customer first. Don, the owner, was a great help in repairing my recent accident.
I had seen the Burlingame Collision Center on California Dr for years, so when I needed a couple of holes on my bumper fixed I thought "why not stop in?"
I pulled around back and was greeted by Dan, their paint/body expert. He spent 15- 20 minutes finding 2 plugs that matched my bumper color and installed them, without charge.
That was 2 years ago, so when I recently scraped a family members Lexus, parked in my driveway, with my Lexus, BCC was my first and only stop. Don carefully explained the insurance and repair process with me. What i didn't realize is that the insurance company is the main reason why the process takes so long. If I had spoken to Don before calling my insurer, It would have saved me a week in repair time.
Of course the repair work was excellent - actually the car looks better now than it did before. Again, they buffed away up a couple of marks that weren't on the claim for free!
Use Don as a source for not only repair but to help you deal with your mega corporate insurer - He will save you time and money! BCC is in my rolodex along with my doctor, lawyer and hairstylist .

Don was super knowledgeable with recommended fixes and dealing with my insurance provider. He did excellent work on my '04 ES330 and pretty much took care of all the go between with my provider and turned around the repairs in record time. He even cleaned the interior and exterior of my car without me having to ask.

Don is the man for this!
I went here with my damaged in an accident Acura RSX. He was the most honest collision center I guy I came across.
He gave me a reasonable estimate, made me understand how it works and made the process as smooth as possible.
At the end of it, I got my car looking brand new.

Burlingame Collision Center is as good as it get's. About 10 years ago a relative of mine recommended Burlingame Collision Center (Don) to perform some work on a vehicle that was damaged in an accident.
Since that time I have used Burlingame Collision Center several times on other vehicles I have owned, along with Don working on many of my family and friends vehicles.
What set's them apart from their competition is not only the excellent customer service such as: simplifying the insurance claim process. providing regular status updates to arranging transportation to and from the rental car company.
Not only is their customer service superior, they also concentrate on the little things, it is their attention to the details; for example, today I picked up my vehicle after some minor repairs caused from an animal trying to gain entry to my truck, not only was the repair performed without flaw, To my surprise, Don took it upon himself to have my truck detailed for me.
If you are looking for a shop with a can do attitude, this is your shop!

I took my Infiniti G35 Coupe to this place and Don Montalbo greeted me at the office. I had a pretty bad series of scrapes on the passenger side rear wheel well that I thought I'd have to have the entire rear end repainted in order to repair it. But Don took a look at it and applied some liquid thinner on the scratches and they came right off! Apparently it was just left over paint from whoever scraped my car. Then he buffed it out a bit with some wax.
Don didn't charge me anything but more importantly, he was honest about it. He could've charged me for a full paint job and I wouldn't have known better but he didn't. He was honest and did the right thing.
If I ever need auto body work done, I am definitely going to bring it to this place. I'm also going to refer all my friends and family here too. Finding someone who is honest and ethical to do business with is always important.

I found this repair shop online and they were amazing! I took my car in and it was a AAA claim and they re assessed the damage, found it needed more and called AAA and arranged the added issues all without having to bug me! They got the added repairs approved and they fixed my car in a week. Don the owner even gave me $100 discount! This place has all you want in a repair shop, honesty, expertise, and efficiency. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND-and I will only go here from now on.

I have had way too many occasions to take my cars to this shop for body repair over the past 5+ years - and I consider myself very lucky!!! Don has always provided stellar service, and I trust him with no reservations. In all my dealings with Don, he has always delivered on time, the repairs were always first rate, he provided help and guidance in dealing with the insurance company, and when I needed new cars he was there for support. I have had the misfortune of having more than one accident and in need of car repairs more than one time. In addition on more than one type of car as well.
Luckily for me Burlingame Collision has come through with flying colors each time. My first car was a European car (BMW) and Burlingame Collision excels in this category of foreign cars. The colors matched and the seams were perfect. The car ran like new that I sold it for more that I could imagine.
I was so satisfied with my second experience with them, when I had another accident on my next foreign car - and of course I went back to Burlingame Collision. They replaced all the parts with genuine parts and again the car color and alignments were superb. I would highly recommend Burlingame Collision for all Automobile Body Work (big or small)

My SUV was badly damaged on one side. Burlingame Collision Center did a perfect job repairing the damage with all quality parts, and no cheap Chinese replacement parts. They did the work very quickly. My vehicle looks brand new.
Additionally, they set up a rental vehicle for me, and they handled the paperwork with my insurance company, so the whole experience was easy.

I have been going to the Burlingame Collision Center for almost 10 years. Not that I'm that bad of a driver, but between two people rear-ending me, a kid falling off his bike onto my parked car car, my daughter forgetting to shut the door as I was backing out of the garage, and my own poor judgement of angles and traffic speeds, I've been there a lot! Don and his crew are absolutely fantastic. He's honest, courteous, and easy to work with, and the damage is always so well repaired it doesn't even look like anything ever happened. When my insurance covered the damage, Don handled all the dealings with my insurance company, including getting me a rental car. On several occasions, he's fixed the damage right then and there and didn't even charge me. I feel very fortunate that I have found Don and his business.

THE VERY BEST!

I came to Burlingame Collision after reading consistent top notch reviews on local sites such as "Small Town Burlingame", "Local to Me", etc. I am a retired project manager from NASA and started my career in Quality Assurance and Control with the Dept. of Defense, so I have a keen "inspector's eye" and I KNOW quality and service when I see it! Don, the owner, takes personal interest in every customer and goes out of his way to listen and respond to each person's interests and needs. For me he immediately took responsibility for ALL aspects of my case which involved severe vandalism to my car all the way around. He coordinated with both the rental car and insurance companies to make it easy and convenient for me. He also offered a lot of very valuable information on dealing with insurance companies, the new and used car business, resale values and how to buy and market a car in today's high tech world. Most importantly, he represented ME and did not compromise when dealing with the insurance adjuster. My car looks better than when I purchased it and I cannot recommend Don and his business more highly!

I feel everyone should know that Quality at a fair price is hard to come by these days, Family owned and operated,the owner Don Montalvo explained every aspect of repair which left me with piece of mind after my accident . Don is amazing!! He was so kind and helpful throughout the process of my car. I was recently involved in a hit-and-run and Don was just amazing about it. He let me drop my car off on my way out of town and was keeping constantly updated via email on every part of the process. He was super helpful and furthermore did an AMAZING job fixing my car!! It looks brand spanking new and Don even gave my family helpful tips on keeping it looking clean (he even vacuumed it, what a sweetheart!!) Happy with thier work

These guys did some body work on my Saturn's passenger door. Someone had run into it and left a nice big dent. I brought it into BCC and they gave me a reasonable quote and had the job done within a week. No complaints.
