I don't know a lot about cars so I always appreciate it when the mechanics take the time to explain what's wrong with my car. The staff are super chill and friendly; hence the high rating.
I will say that I have noticed (like the other reviewers) the prices are a little higher than my last mechanic (walmart). A high-mileage oil change was $45. My only major problem I've had them fix was my rear brakes wheel cylinder. It was leaking. The had to flush the brakes in order to replace it. They gave a free diagnostic. The parts and labor cost $444. They offer a credit card that at the time gave me 6 months no interest. :)
I'll keep looking around for other options though just in case.

Saw their price for an oil change so I called to see what their wait time was at first o was told 30-45, then he said only 15 until they could get to me, it would be done in 45. So I stopped in. He told me he'd get to me as soon as he finished taking care the couple who was sitting. Then another woman came in and he started working on her information. She was very irritated, and obviously been dealing with them for a minute. She was trying to get a quote but they wouldn't accept her insurance card so she has insurance on the phone and they don't have a fax line, supposedly and no email to receive anything. Then the guy couldn't even get in her van without setting of the the alarm. She went outside to help him turn it off and from what I saw it appears he quit out of frustration, and refused to finish the job. The couple waiting told me not to use a debit card because they had been double charged and was having a hard time getting their money back. Meanwhile I hear him on the phone talking to someone saying, well I guess we'll just have to fix it, mind you they have a sign saying *if we don't do it right the first time, we'll fix it for free (paraphrase), so I'm thinking they messed something up. So after waiting nearly 30 minutes, not even getting checked in, I left, and won't ever go back. Too much incompetence for a mechanic shop.

I would never go back to a Tuffy!! Received the worst service imaginable at the Winter Garden location. They denied a coupon that had their address and doesn't expire until July of this year. The manager told me to call corporate or call the news, it didn't matter, they don't accept that coupon anymore. This is after the 2 previous days going there, and them saying to come back another day because they were "too busy"

There being only a single other review for this Tuffy location, let me begin by saying that, yes, the staff here is incredibly friendly, they even offered me a discount because I work for Disney, however everything else save for maybe their jacked up labor prices is farce. My car overheated and I needed it assessed to see what damage was done. I was initially told it would be free only to lyre discover that the grand total for the assessment alone would be $410.03. He proceeded to tell me what wrong with the vehicle, a grand total well over $3000, I informed the owner I simply couldn't afford to pay that amount for the repairs so he handed me back my keys and a box of what used to be my engine.
They left my car gutted, weren't clear with their assessment fees and on top of that the estimates given to me we're complete nonsense. I was specifically told that the cylinder head valve was intact prior to his full assessment, but was informed afterwards that it needed to be replaced as well as the gasket , radiator and a few other parts. I know few mechanics and they all told me that 1. There was no need to take apart the engine to figure out what was damaged and 2. The prices given for labor and parts are ridiculous.
AVOID THIS LOCATION. I wouldn't even trust other Tuffys. Their crooks and now I'm out $400 and my car is in a worse state than it was before.

I took my car here back in April of 2013 after a bad experience at the Magic Mechanic in Orlando. The guy in the front office (I believe he was the manager) was very nice to me and had his mechanics perform a free diagnostic check on my vehicle. They found the problem right away. $489 for a new alternator plus labor. My car ran smooth as can be after they fixed it and I was given a very good warranty for the alternator that could be used at any Tuffy's location throughout the U.S..
A family member of mine is an auto mechanic and he informed me that their labor prices were a bit high. I agree wholeheartedly, which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.
Overall: great service, free diagnostic checks, friendly staff, knowledgeable mechanics, and quick turnaround times.

this morning i came into tuffy tire &auto serivice and was greeted by Giuseppe Gambini and told him what i needed to be done and he got all his information up and told me the prices and everything that needed to be done and when he told me how much the total price was i was so surprised that it was afforable. i love coming here because i know i will be taken care of and not having to stress over prices and knowing my car wont have the problems it had before.

My car starting shutting off while I was driving, after asking friends where I should take it my friend (whose brother is a mechanic) said he takes his car here. I spoke with Giuseppe (the manager) on the phone- he said I could bring my car in as early as 7:30 and he would remember my problem. Once I got my car here, they diagnosed the problem and were able to start the repair right away. I'll definitely bring my car here again for any issues. They showed me what the part looks like, and knew that I had gone somewhere a little less reputable recently. Great job guys!

I took my Isuzu to get my tune up and was met with great service, from a knowledgeable staff, and the prices seemed fair. Everything was well maintained and did not feel like when i go to other shops and they are just tryign to squeeze every cent out of your pocket. I definitely recommend that you check them out. Ive already recommended to al of my family and friends!!

I've had my oil changed at many places but never have I ever experienced such service as today.... The guys here are very polite and knowledgeable. I would recdommende this location to others. thank u got such great service on today....
